About Kneading Hands Massage

After spending many years in Retail Management and Customer Service I decided to fulfill my lifelong dream to enter the healthcare field and help others.

I attended Lehigh Valley College (formerly Allentown Business School ) for 18 months and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Massage Therapy. My massage training exceeded 1000 hours which included an internship with a Chiropractor specializing in rehabilitation.

I am a Professional Member in good standing of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP). My expertise and passion lies in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, injury recovery, and improving athletic performance through multiple modalities.  I am an Advisory Board Member for Lincoln Technical Institute’s Massage Technician program.

It is important to me that my clients' needs are met, that they understand massage provides many health benefits, and that massage is not a luxury.

After many years suffering from Scoliosis and various treatments, Kristin started college in 2007 at Northampton Community College majoring in Biology with the desire to be a Physical Therapist, but soon after decided to become a Massage Therapist.  She went on to complete a 633 hour Massage Therapy program at Pennsylvania Institute of Massage Therapy.

She is versed in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue & Therapeutic Technique, Reflexology, Pregnancy, Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy, Orthopedic Massage, Active Isolated Stretching, and a few other modalities. She knows how important it is that therapy and massage go hand in hand and can help relieve muscle tension. She herself sees that continued massages for her back helps alleviate any discomforts she has.

She also worked for resort spas and another local spa where she has learned and practiced Hot Stone Massages. Her interests and expertise are Deep Tissue and Trigger Point therapy.

Chris always had an interest in massage therapy growing up. He was frequently asked to walk on his father’s back, or to help someone with their stiff neck. It seemed to just come naturally, and so it only made sense that when seeking a change in his life, Chris decided to do what he seemed to do well already – and to make a career of it.

Chris is a graduate of McCann School of Business with an Associates Degree in Massage Therapy, excelling at all things and graduating at the top of his class. With over 1500 hours of clinical and classroom training, and a focus on the medical benefits of massage therapy, Chris strives to relieve muscle tension, imbalance and discomfort in his clientele.

Chris employs a more Therapeutic approach to massage, but can easily slow down to offer a completely relaxing session, or he can ‘dig in deep’ for a good round of Deep Tissue. His natural Therapeutic-oriented routine draws bits and pieces from his education to create a thorough approach to softening up the tissues of the body, and allowing for proper flow of energy and movement again. Chris is also a Reiki Master, and it’s said that you can feel it in his hands during the session. With hands like hot stones, and well-thought-out strokes and movements, he will have you back in your stride in no time.

Chris is a Member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).

Sam graduated from Lincoln Tech and joined our practice in March of 2010.

As a young child Sam had a yearning to help others and has fulfilled that desire by becoming a massage therapist. Sam can do deep/therapeutic massage, but his true passion lies with Swedish, and an overall stress relief of the body.

He is now enrolled part-time at Muhlenberg College nurturing his creativeness with writing and photography classes.
